Areas of Practice:

Gordon Gwynne-Timothy joined Ryder-Burbidge Hurley Foster in 2019.  He enjoys helping clients with the full range of questions and issues that people bring with them in family law situations, in Estates law situations, and in other civil litigation matters.

Gordon is a graduate of Harvard University, Cambridge University, and the University of Toronto Law School. He was a student athlete and enjoyed many hours rowing both at the Varsity level and for his College. He also has a love of Early Music and met his wife while singing for the well-known Tafelmusik choir in Toronto. After working for a time at a large Bay Street law firm in Toronto, Gordon took a very enjoyable and lengthy detour into studying philosophy, and then teaching and coaching at an independent boarding school. He returned to the practice of law in Kingston after moving there in 2013 with his wife and family.

Gordon still enjoys choral singing when he can and is a tenor section lead and occasional soloist with the Melos Choir and Period Ensemble in Kingston. He enjoys spending time with his family in Kingston and Prince Edward County. He is a member of The Advocates’ Society.
